Press Release: Koala Cottage is named one of the best in the South East
A luxury Bed and Breakfast with a distinct Anglo-Australian feel in Godshill on the Isle of Wight that has enjoyed continued success since its March 2006 opening has been rewarded for its outstanding tourism offering.
Koala Cottage has been named as overall Runner-Up in the Bed and Breakfast (B&B) of the Year category in the prestigious Tourism ExSEllence Awards 2006 for the South East. It was recognised in the awards, run by Tourism South East, as an exceptional quality B&B offering excellent added value services to its UK and international customers.
Particularly targeting couples who are looking to celebrate, and to stay in somewhere and genuinely unique, Koala Cottage received the accolade as one of the region’s very best at a glittering awards ceremony on Thursday 5 October.
Opened in March 2006, Koala Cottage offers innovative extras like health and beauty treatments in its sauna/spa villa, special intimate honeymoon and wedding packages, gourmet picnic hampers and even al fresco barbeque breakfasts!
Koala Cottage was named Runner-Up against stiff competition in the B&B category in the Tourism ExSEllence Awards 2006. Entrants to the awards covered the huge Tourism South East region, which stretches far afield from Kent through the Isle of Wight, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and across to North Oxfordshire and West Berkshire.
